Welcome back! Today's Ajaxo Challenge is Oven-Baked Crispy Drumsticks with Napa Cabbage and a side of rice. The total cost of ingredients today was .15! Our groceries include: - 1 pound of Napa Cabbage at VideoDescription.39 a pound - 2 pounds of chicken drumsticks at VideoDescription.88 a pound - Rice Start off by pre-heating your oven to 325 degrees. We marinated our chicken with: - salt - pepper - hoisin sauce - soy sauce Make sure the chicken is well marinated. When ready, wrap a tray with aluminum foil, place the chicken on top, and put the chicken inside the oven. The total baking time should be 1 hour. Every 20 minutes, take the chicken out and rotate them so that both sides are well done. When you only have 10 minutes left, take the chicken out and place them on a rack with the tray underneath. This will allow the juice and oil to drip down. Collect the juice and oil inside a bowl and set aside for later. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and water together. Apply this mixture with a brush or utensil over the drumsticks. This will make the drumsticks crispy. Put the chicken back inside the oven for the last 10 minutes. Now for the cabbage! Cut into thick, generous slices. Dice some garlic, too. Oil your pan and bring it to heat. Add the garlic to set the tone. Next, add the cabbage. Skim the fat off the bowl of juice that you collected earlier. Pour the juice into the cabbage to infuse the cabbage with your chicken. And there you have it - for just .15 a quick and incredibly easy meal for ...
